Actor Ranbir Kapoor is in the best phase of his life. On the professional front, he just released two blockbuster movies—Shamshera and Bramhastra, and he is also shooting director Luv Ranjan’s untitled flick with actress Shraddha Kapoor in Spain. Personally, the actor began a new phase in his life and got married to Bollywood actress Alia in April. Additionally, Ranbir and Alia announced in June that they are expecting their first child. 

The couple has received a lot of love since their announcement with fans eagerly awaiting Baby Kapoor’s arrival. During the promotions of his film Bramhastra, Ranbir also expressed his excitement about embracing this new journey in life, and cannot wait to meet his little one. He Is Super Excited About Embracing Fatherhood

During multiple promotions of his recent films, Ranbir was asked to describe his thoughts on becoming a parent. To this, the actor said that there were no “correct answers” to describe the wonderful feeling of becoming a parent for the first time. The actor also added that he is already dreaming about the future and is excited and jubilant about the journey ahead. 

Ranbir also shared in his promotions that he and Alia feel extremely grateful and that this is a very special phase in their life. The actor also added that he and his wife have already talked about having lots of children in the future, and would like to see that come true one day.

With all the mixed emotions and excitement that Ranbir is feeling, we are sure he is counting the days till his little one’s arrival, and can’t wait to smother his baby with love and care. 

He Is Actively Taking Parenting Lessons And Wants To Be The World’s Best Dad

To promote his film, the actor also recently appeared on a Star Plus show, Ravivaar With Star Parivaar. While interacting with fellow actors in the show, Ranbir expressed his dream of being the best dad in the world and also asked popular TV show actor, Rupali Ganguly (who stars in Anupama) for some handy tips. 

In response, Rupali taught Ranbir how to hold a baby in his arms using a prop doll and how to feed a baby and change their diapers. Ranbir, who enthusiastically participated in this impromptu parenting class, seemed super-excited while holding the doll, and also referred to it as his daughter.

Sharing glimpses of the video, Ranbir’s fans remarked that the actor seems excited about his kid’s arrival, and his efforts to become the world’s best dad is super-adorable. And we couldn’t agree more!

He Was Papped Going On A Shopping Spree For His Little One

The actor went to Spain a couple of months ago to shoot for his film with Shraddha Kapoor. And according to a leading daily, the actor was seen going on a shopping spree for accessories and clothes for his little one. Given that he was already busy with his schedule, managing to take out time to shop for his child shows how excited Ranbir is for his baby’s arrival. 

The report also added that he shopped several presents for his wife, and expecting mum Alia, and couldn’t wait to reach home to spoil her with all the goodies. 

He Wants To Pass On The Lessons He Learned From His Parents To His Child

Ranbir feels that the kind of relationship that his dad Rishi Kapoor modelled with him was based on his grandfather’s teachings. Ranbir also shared that while he wished he was friendlier with his dad, he respects and cherishes all the moments spent with him and the lessons learned from him.

Talking about what kind of a dad he would like to see himself as Ranbir shared that he doesn’t know what kind of a dad he will become, but he knows that he will imbibe values that he has taken from his family and life, and would instil them in his child one day at a time.
