Just when all of us resumed work amidst Monday blues, leaving behind the hangover of the festival of colours, another Bollywood celebrity, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, announced that she is all set to embrace motherhood.

The Indian actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her businessman hubby Anand Ahuja, are expecting their first child during Spring this year.

Sharing photos from her maternity shoot, the Delhi 6 actress wrote,

“Four hands to raise you the very best we can. Two hearts that will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”

The mum-to-be added the hashtags “#everydayphenomenal” and “#comingthisfall2022” to her post.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is the eldest daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. Ever since her wedding, she had to refute her pregnancy rumours that made the headlines several times.

She was seen flaunting a red floral maxi dress in London last year in July, that led to speculations of her being pregnant.

She had put an end to the pregnancy rumours by sharing a boomerang on her Instagram story about period pains.

The Couple Slays Their Looks For Maternity Shoot

Recently, for her maternity shoot, the Neerja actress wore a black body-hugging monokini and her hubby decided to flaunt minimalistic vibes donning a white t-shirt.

The first photo shows the actress on a couch, resting her head on her hubby’s lap and cradling her baby bump. While, in the last photo, the couple is seen laughing their hearts out.

Bollywood Celebrities Congratulate the Parents-to-Be

Congratulations are in order as the Padman actress announces her news of pregnancy. Several celebrities and fans have wished the couple on their big news.

Her cousin Khushi Kapoor took to the comment section and showered love on the couple leaving several emojis to congratulate them.

Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Wohoooooooo soooo happy for you both. Can’t wait for the babies to play.”

Singer Shreya Ghoshal has also showered her love and wrote, “Congratulations! What a wonderful news!”

While Dia Mirza wrote, “Such wonderful news!!! So happy for you.”

Ananya Pandey wrote, “Congratulations.”

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja have been living in London’s Notting Hill after tying the knot in 2018.

The couple has been setting romantic goals and painting the town red. On Sonam’s birthday, her hubby had wished her by writing, “I know how much you love wallpapers – well you’re the only wallpaper I need! Happy Birthday my forever wallpaper.”

The actress was last seen in the 2019 release, The Zoya Factor alongside Dulquer Salmaan. She then did a cameo in Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s 2020 Netflix release, AK vs AK.

She will be seen playing a visually challenged cop in Shome Makhija’s upcoming film Blind.
