“A woman has the power to create, nurture, and transform.”
Neeti Goel is a renowned restauranteur, who owns multiple successful establishments, such as ‘Keiba,’ ‘Osstaad,’ ‘Madras Diaries,’ and ‘Madras Express. However, her most notable recognition comes from her philanthropic endeavours—dedicating herself to uplifting underprivileged women across the country and empowering them to secure a livelihood of their own.
She is the Founder of the Nari Natti scheme—which is dedicated to uplifting women and creating multiple employment opportunities for them. Speaking about her vision, Neeti shared in an interview, “In rural areas, societal norms often dictate that women are primarily suited for managing households. Unfortunately, due to such ingrained perspectives and a lack of educational opportunities, women frequently find themselves dependent on others, grappling with a sense of identity deprivation.”
Presently, Nari Natti is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of over one lakh women, with plans to extend its reach to other rural regions beyond Madhya Pradesh soon.
Before initiating Naari Natti, Neeti Goel left a significant impact on the lives of thousands of Indians during the pandemic. She co-founded the Khaanachiye initiative, providing free meals to the needy and homeless. Additionally, Neeti played a crucial role in co-founding the Ghar Bhejo campaign with actor Sonu Sood, where they helped over 2 lakh migrants safely reach their homes during the lockdown.
In recognition of her outstanding philanthropic endeavours, Neeti has garnered international acclaim. She was honoured with the ‘Women Empowerment Principal Leadership Award 2023’ by the Asian Business and Social Forum. Additionally, she received the prestigious title of ‘Iconic Woman of the Year’ at the Society Achievers Award, further highlighting her impactful contributions and leadership.
