Her brand also strives to create apparels that help celebrate womanhood, reflect their personality, and meet high-quality standards at a great value. 

Nush is one of the Indian clothing brands that believe in sustainability and using eco-friendly materials to produce clothes. They are proud to have a cruelty-free collection and are positively working together to make this planet a better place. 

2. Deepshikha Deshmukh, Founder, Love Organically

Motherhood made Deepshikha Deshmukh think deeply about the ingredients that went into the skincare products for children. On discovering that even the most so-called natural products contain synthetic and chemical ingredients, the mum-of-two decided that there’s a lot more to be done. Hence, she founded Love Organically to create holistic skincare products using herbal and plant-derived ingredients.

Talking about what keeps her inspired the most, Deepshikha stated, “What drives me is the fact that with Love Organically, everyone, everywhere can be assured that they are using gentle, kind, and good products, perfect for young delicate skin and for mother Earth.”

3. Deepti Sawhney, Founder & CEO, Mahattattva

Deepti Sawhney is an educator, who launched Mahattattva (a state-of-the-art academic program) with the vision of making quality and progressive education accessible to schools worldwide. Deepti aims to create unique learning programs with new-age strategies and routines to ensure that all students are equipped with essential skills to compete globally. 

Giving a glimpse at the kind of Mahattattva aims to create, Deepti stated, “From digital leadership to school management, we aim to support teachers and students alike to revolutionise modern education by offering tailored resources.

4. Divya Balaji Kamerkar, CEO & Co-Founder, Pinky Promise

Divya Balaji Lamerkar launched Pinky Promise in 2021 with the aim of transforming women’s healthcare in India and making it accessible and judgment-free. The consumer base of Pinky Promise is mostly women from tier 2, 3, and 4 cities, and areas where accessibility to gynaecologists is difficult. In addition to this, 60% of the app consumers have never visited a gynaecologist before, making the start-up the first point of reproductive healthcare for them.

Talking about her venture, Divya stated, “We believe technology can help play an enabling and large role in helping women around the world to access instant and scientific reproductive healthcare.”

5. Harshada Joshi, Founder, Happibo

Mumpreneur Harshada Joshi founded Happibo, India’s first ready-to-eat baby food, with the aim of offering little ones healthy foods that they would actually like to eat. This idea struck Harshada when she was out dining one evening, and while she and her partner savoured their meal, her toddler refused to eat the pulpy food on his plate.  This made Harshada wonder, “Why does this little guy need to eat boring food?” From there, the story of Happibo began.

Besides curating healthy purees and meals for kids, Happibo is also building a platform for parents to buy, sell, or donate their kids’ toys and other items.

6. Jyotsana Malhotra, Founder, Bump To Bunny

Jyotsana Malhotra founded Bump To Bunny in 2019, with the aim of making the lives of every time-starved mums-to-be easier. Her company creates tailor-made luxe trimester-wise pregnancy/maternity baskets to relieve uncomfortable symptoms experienced during pregnancy. 

The ultimate aim of Bump To Bunny is to offer a one-stop solution for mums-to-be juggling between work, family, and social life. Their curated trimester-wise pregnancy boxes are made with close consultations with gynaecologists.

7. Masoom Minawala Mehta, Content Creator, Global Influencer & Investor

A champion of women empowerment and a former founder and CEO of Style Fiesta Masoom Minawala Mehta is one of the first creators of the global influencer industry. She has represented India on global platforms several times and created history when she walked as the showstopper at the Milan Fashion Week in 2022.

Recently, the mumpreneur became an equity partner and lead innovation & strategy at the e-commerce start-up ‘The Cai Store’. Elaborating more about how she is using her platform to empower women, she shared, “To inspire women to tap into their entrepreneurial skills, I have now founded Empowher. The initiative helps inspire, guide, and uplift women who want to grow or kick start their journey in the competitive world of business.”

8. Monisha Narke, Founder & CEO, RUR Greenlife

Monisha Narke’s RUR Greenlife aims to educate citizens about green living and sustainable waste management

Monika Narke’s inspiration behind launching RUR Greenlife stemmed from the desire to provide a clean and safe environment for her daughter. Hence, with the motto of “reducing, recycling, and reusing,” she started this socio-environmental organisation to employ an end-to-end approach to urban solid waste management.

Today, RUR Greenlife ideates, designs, builds, and implements customised turnkey waste-to-resource solutions that are decentralised and sustainable. They also help schools, households, and corporates to optimise waste recycling and minimise the impact on landfills. Further, Monisha aims to impact many more lives and envisions making RUR the one-stop solution for waste management. 

9. Navdeep Kaur, Founder, Aagghhoo

The desire to offer the best care to her daughter is what inspired Navdeep Kaur to become a mompreneur. When her daughter was born, Navdeep noticed that her little one’s skin reacted poorly to synthetic fabrics. In an interview, Navdeep revealed, “My daughter developed rashes on her skin, which is why I decided to stick to natural fabrics dyed in plant-based colours for her.”

Noticing the gap in the market, between what she wanted and what was available, Navneet decided to go in with her own products to offer better services for babies from an early stage of their life. Her brand Aagghhoo creates clothes with soft and breathable fabrics that are soft on your child’s skin and helps them sleep peacefully in them. 

10. Neha Bagaria, Founder & CEO, JobsForHer

Neha Bagaria founded JobsForHer to help women re-launch their careers after taking a break

Neha Bagaria’s started JobsForHer to give women a platform to re-enter the workforce after taking a break. Her inspiration to launch this start-up stemmed from her own experience with motherhood. While she realised that she had the luxury to return to work quickly, many others struggled to bounce back.

She decided to break such barriers and form an online platform to connect women to companies with diversity initiatives and give them a boost in re-launching their careers.

11. Pallavi Utagi, Founder & CEO, Superbottoms

Pallavi Utagi is a Mumbai-based entrepreneur, and the founder of the sustainable diaper brand, Superbottoms. Her love for gentle parenting and zero-waste living enabled Superbottoms to become India’s first and only CPSIA-tested and certified cloth diaper brand, loved by thousands of new mums. 

Pallavi envisions making cloth diapers mainstream and a brand-new category in the Indian market. Talking about the impact that her company has made, Pallavi stated, “Our company focuses on sustainability, from optimising the usage of raw materials to recycling, and upcycling initiatives. We also have a strong community and consumer base, who take up initiatives to support parents from low-income houses.”

12. Priyanka Chopra, Founder, Purple Pebble Pictures & Anomaly Haircare

Actor, producer, and new mum, Priyanka Chopra Jonas started her entrepreneurial journey in 2015, when she founded the production company, Purple Pebble Pictures with her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra. Priyanka also recently launched her global haircare brand Anomaly, which uses 100% vegan and cruelty-free ingredients to elevate hair and scalp health. 

With Anomaly, Priyanka wants to ensure accessibility and encourage consciousness in the Indian market. She stated, “It is about democratising beauty, and that is important in a country where people still buy sachets of shampoo because they consider it more cost-effective.”

13. Radhika Ghai, Founder & CEO, kindlife.in

Radhika Ghai is recognised as an internet entrepreneur and she is also India’s first woman who entered the Unicorn Club as the Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder of ShopClues.com. Currently, she is the founder and CEO of kindlife.in, which is a new-age wellness and beauty ecosystem that enables commerce, brands, and community. Bound by ‘kind codes’, Rdhikha’s new venture aims to help the late millennials and Gen Z lead a kind life. 

In addition to being a prolific start-up investor, Radhika is also involved with various coaching and mentoring programs, where she guides young entrepreneurs and women in business.

14. Riddhi Sharma, Founder & CEO, BabyOrgano

Mumpreneur Riddhi Sharma founded BabyOrgano in 2020, when she realised that there are very few Ayurvedic and natural baby care brands in the Indian market. With BabyOrgano, Riddhi envisions creating toxin-free and plant-derived products that become every parent’s best companion and helps them experience the joys of parenthood together.

The company is also a huge advocate for women’s empowerment and works with underprivileged women to give them the opportunity to earn and become financially stable.

15. Ritu Soni Srivastava, Co-Founder, Lightbulb.ai

Currently, Lightbulb.ai is also helping live online businesses by automating and monitoring live online classes and giving teams insightful reports and alerts to improve retention and acquisition.

17. Shilpi Sharma Bedi, Indie Project Store

The Indie Project Store is the brainchild of Shilpi Sharma Bedi, a mum on the hunt for traditionally woven clothes for children with natural fabrics. Unable to find the right and safe fabrics for her child, Shilpi felt the need to start her very own brand of clothes for children, and also combine it with traditional designs to empower the artisans of India.

With her venture, Shilpi and her team have been able to sustainable and comfortable clothes for children and also support and improve the livelihood of artisans who were struggling to keep traditional crafts alive. 

18. Shruti Ajmera Reddy, Founder, Hapup

Shruti Ajmera Reddy’s Hapup offers healthy and natural food mixes for kids and adults

When Shruti found out that more than 90% of baby food contains one or more toxic chemicals like mercury, arsenic, and lead (which can cause long-term health effects in children), she knew that starting her own baby food brand was the only way to go.

After doing extensive market research, she founded Hapup in 2018, which offers nutritional mixes for kids, that is free from all kinds of preservatives, chemicals, added salt, or sugar. While the brand only started with making products for kids, it has now taken a leap in creating products for adults too. Talking about how she wants her brand to make an impact, Shruti stated, “What Hapup is trying to offer is a healthy lifestyle choice to people across all ages. We wish to become a part of everyone’s daily lifestyle choices in our country.”

19. Simran Lekhi, Founder, KiDSTACK

Simran Lekhi’s KiDSTACK was inspired when #boycottchineseproducts started trending on the internet, and the mum of two found out that most of the toys that kids were using were made with low-quality materials and emitted dangerous and toxic chemicals. That’s when she decided to launch KiDSTACK, an online marketplace with plastic-free and eco-friendly toys.

With her venture, Simran aims to educate parents about the importance of using sustainable toys and is currently training as a Certified Play Therapist by the National Association of Play Therapy for the cause. KiDSTACK works with women entrepreneurs across India and extends their support to women rural artisans as well. 

20. Simrun Chopra, Founder, Nourish With Sim

Simrun Chopra founded her weight management platform, Nourish with Sim to become a helping hand for women at the lowest point in their life. A working mum herself, she understands the struggles of a woman trying to manage her weight while juggling her career and looking after her baby and family. To fit the needs of every woman, Simrun worked to plan customised fitness routines for her clients with guaranteed results. She builds flexible programs that easily fit into your lifestyle and culture, and also offers one-on-one training sessions to come up with tailor-made solutions. 

In addition to offering fitness solutions, Simrun also helps her clients with healthy recipes that can they can eat guilt-free without cutting down on essential nutrients. Her mantra is “simple, sustainable, and flexible”, and she doesn’t believe in any fancy weight loss plans or diets, or fads. While she had only wished to help at least one woman with the start of her venture, today Noursih with Sim has grown exponentially, with thousands of clients across India.

21. Tejal Bajla, Co-Founder, AllThingsBaby.com

Tejal’s strong drive for achieving results and her entrepreneurial approach toward business have enabled her to build successful brands that thrive and bring a positive impact.
