As adults we’re all so busy, we have no time to just ‘be’ and enjoy the little moments. We also forget to see the good, to randomly sing and dance with joy, to say hello to random people and things, to stop and admire the blue skies, to stop everything we are doing just to smell flowers, to speak our minds without the fear of being judged, to find happiness in small things, to give compliments to others, and to be unafraid or unashamed of being wrong.

Spending time with kids reminds us of our lost childhood and makes us want to go right back to our carefree days. Kids are all about purity, kindness and innocence and being with them can brighten up even the dullest day! This children’s day that’s exactly what we did, we spent time speaking to some kids and learning how to find joy and happiness in simple things.

We teach these little people how to talk, how to walk, how to read, how to write etc. but little do we realise that these toddlers teach us so much more about life in return! They remind us to go slow, pause and look at the things around us.

Here Are Some Life Lessons We Can Learn From These Toddlers:

Live in the moment

All that 6-year-old Naira Mohta wishes for on Children’s Day is to go to Jumble Tumble and play for two whole hours! “My wish is to go to Jumble Tumble and play and play for two hours, it will be so much fun!” Naira teaches us how important it is to have fun in life, sometimes we just need to forget everything and go all out, have fun and live in the moment.

If only adults looked at the world like children do, what a wonderful world that would be! Happy Children’s Day.
