Karan Johar recently hosted a pre-birthday bash for his twins, Yash and Roohi Johar, on 1 February 2023. The grand bash was attended by the who’s who of the industry along with their kids. 

Karan was seen twinning with his kids in Mickey Mouse-themed sweatshirts, while other celebrities like Rani Mukerji, her husband Aditya Chopra and daughter Adira, Kareena Kapoor Khan who accompanied her sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, Gauri Khan and son  AbRam Khan, Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput Kapoor with their kids Misha and Zain, and Shilpa Shetty and her two kids Samisha and Viaan, among others looked comfortable in athleisure outfits and ready to enjoy what seems like a Disney themed party.

While Karan Johar chose Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse theme to celebrate his twins’ birthday, the most popular birthday theme for celebrity kids seems to be the carnival theme.

For her son, Ravie Kapoor’s birthday, Ekta Kapoor hosted a carnival-themed birthday party. For the bash, Ekta donned a black-coloured printed co-ord set, which featured a buttoned shirt and matching pants. The doting mommy arrived with the birthday boy, Ravie, who looked dapper in a grey-hued checkered blazer paired with black pants. The mother-son duo made heads turn at the party with their stunning looks.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta Ambani

Last month on 2 January, Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani and his wife Shloka Mehta threw a lavish Carnival theme birthday bash to celebrate their son Prithvi’s second birthday.  The birthday bash which was held at the Jio World Garden in Mumbai was titled ‘Wonderland’ at the entrance. 

This carnival-themed birthday was indeed a wonderland for the kids, it included everything that a carnival needs from balloons, buntings, candy canes, neon lights, rides and mascots of characters like Peppa Pig, etc. The party was a star-studded event.

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi too hosted a grand Carnival-themed birthday party for their daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi, on 20 November 2022, and called it ‘Mehr’s Carnival’. Everyone from the kids to the parents was seen having a blast at this carnival which had golf sessions, fun games, a circus, carnival games etc.

Riaan Deshmukh turned a year older on 25 November 2022, and his parents Ritesh and Genelia Deshmukh threw him a Carnival-themed birthday. This ‘winter carnival’ theme bash was attended by all the kids of their friends from the industry like Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s sons Taimur and Jehangir, Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya, Shahid Kapoor’s daughter Misha and son Zain to Ayushmann Khurrana’s kids Virajveer and Varushka.
