The start of the book is covered with paw marks stretched over two pages. Let us find out who they belong to ??

Ohhh, meet Augustus the Tiger. But wait, something is amiss.

Augustus has lost his smile, and he sets out to search for it. And we all follow him on his adventure through forests, seas, and mountains as he is trying to find his smile back.

The children know exactly what one would have to do to find a smile, but Augustus doesn’t and we have to read through to see when he would find it out. Searching high and low, he discovers all manner of other creatures, but not his lost smile.

But suddenly something happens and Augustus gets his smile back. Well, you will have to read to find out where and how ??

The illustrations like any Catherine Rayner book are gorgeous and breathtaking. Extensional activities possible even for slightly older kids. The book talks about how to find happiness and tranquility within oneself and I loved this message.

The plot brought a smile to me as well.

Definitely a book I would recommend to everyone. This book will bring a smile to everyone. I loved the way Augustus is portrayed. I would love to give him a big beary hug. It is great when a book does that to you, doesn’t it ?? Makes you feel happy inside !!!
