My family loves fruits. We tend to literally snack on them. We usually relish them in their natural best avatar and once in a while, I prepare something using them, when the taste buds signal out boredom.
Pineapple is one fruit I don’t enjoy eating, one slice and am through. Although, I love its flavour but somehow I don’t appreciate the feeling it leaves in my mouth. So the other day, I picked up a few slices of pineapple and converted it into a drink.
I tried out a healthy concoction of Pineapple and Pomegranate which are juiced together to make a luscious drink! Cut, blend and serve is all it takes to make this delicious Homemade Pineapple Pomegranate Medley. I never strain my fresh fruit juices because all the fibre is lost in straining plus it thins down the juice. I like them thick which are full in their nutrition and flavour. The sweetness of pomegranate beautifully complements the otherwise tart and sweet flavour of pineapples in this drink. You could even spice the medley with some crushed ginger or black salt.
Enjoy this tropical fruit drink in evenings or as a breakfast item.
