Superfood Alert !! Let's talk about a superfood that we always have in our kitchen. I am 99% sure everybody has this superfood in their homes (Atleast we Indians do). I'm talking about the superhero of all our spicies. HALDI ! or TURMERIC ! Turmeric has scientifically proven to be the most effective nutritional supplement in existence. It has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years as both a spice and medicinal herb. Recently, science has started to back up traditional claims that turmeric contains compounds with medicinal properties. Curcumin is a pigment found in turmeric that not only gives it it’s characteristic bright color, but also has a range of health benefits. These include antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects. Because of these wide-ranging functions, turmeric has been studied in relation to arthritis, eye conditions, cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease and more. Turmeric is a highly versatile spice that can be added to meals in a range of ways, including: 1. Adding turmeric into spice mixtures such as curry or barbecue rub. 2. Making a homemade dressing using part oil, part vinegar, and seasonings including turmeric. 3. Adding a pinch of Haldi to your child's daily milk routine. Adults should also add the haldi milk to their everyday routine. Remember, they key to getting long-lasting benefits from any food is to eat a balanced diet.
Teething Tips and Tricks : Every child is different, some manage teething without any problems others are fussy and cranky.
Try these tips to soothe your baby during this difficult phase: ;•;Massaging gums is soothing.
;•;Take a soft small clean cloth, place a small chopped piece of any fresh fruit that your child likes, eg. papaya, apple, muskmelon, watermelon, lock the fruit in by tying the cloth with a clean lace, it will look somewhat like a cloth lollipop, then freeze it. Give it to your kid when they get fussy.
;•;Tie a knot in a soft face cloth and keep it in the freezer, cold things are soothing.
;•;Let your baby gnaw at your fingers.
;•;Teething rings are great, try keeping them cold in the fridge.
;•;Avoid freezing the teething rings with gel since they can easily break when the baby gnaws them.
Just a tiny reminder for all lovely moms out here : Slow down a bit, Take a moment to pause at each and every moment with your baby. Your To-do list will wait while you show your kids the rainbow🌈 but the rainbow will not wait till you complete your To-do list. They don't stay small forever and as much as how sometimes I just wait for the hard days to get over, other days I just can't stop the time quick enough. So please take a break and just cherish the current moment. #Mommyhood#PositiveParenting#ParentingDuringCOVID#BBCreatorsClub#NewParents#Toddlers#BabyChakra

Children have never been good at listening to their elders but they have never failed in imitating them.
