#DID YOU KNOW
Food Allergies
Babies could have Allergies if these foods are introduced before the age of 1 year. It could so happen that the digestion process of the child would be so disturbing 😳 and may affect the child feeding process. #Food Allergies #Infant food# Babynutritiontip

#Infant Nutrition
Gut biomes.

This is serious. The infant microbiome🦠 is the population of good versus bad bacteria in the body. It is important for this to be in balance to favor good health 💪

.

The first seeding of good bacteria 🦠 happens at birth when baby travels through the vagina 🤰into the world. The second happens at the breast 🤱 through the magic of breast milk 💦

.

C-section and Formula feeding disrupts the infant microbiome and tips the balance in favour of pathogenic bacteria. 😓 This gives way to allergies, and infections but also to mental health issues. 🤒 Thankfully this balance can be brought back with the right nutrition and lifestyle choices ,but over time what impact would this have?

.

We must remind ourselves that like global warming 🌍 this too is a very serious risk for the future generations and for life on earth itself

☀️

Is the mother reponsible for this? NO! She follows the guidance and advice she receives. This message is for the MEDICAL COMMUNITY to take responsibility and minimize medical interventions in birth that can contribute to HIGH c-section rates and provide the right support to mom's so we can IMPROVE and report on breastfeeding rates. (Medically necessary C-sections should be less than 11% but are abnormally high and breastfeeding rates can be close to 100 but is only at 47%in India). It's a reality we must face and not hide from

.

What kind of planet🌍 do we want to leave behind for our babies and their babies? 🏞️

.

It's one baby at a time, we get to change the future ❤️

.

What do you think?

*Daily Nutritional Dose For Infants*
.
As parents we are always worried if our baby is falling short on some of the essential nutrients especially in the first year of a baby’s lifespan. Since breast milk/formula milk &other baby foods does not meet the required nutritional needs of a body until your baby has teeth & is eating a proper balanced diet. Therefore, we have to make sure that the vitals are regularly & adequately given to the baby for a healthy physical-mental development; If you have a new born, you must give the below supplements everyday to avoid any deficiency and to prevent growth restrictions; So if u r not supplementing your baby with the below, pls make the first move and ask your doctor about it without any hesitation. Right dosage will be recommended by your paediatrician depending on your baby’s well being...
1. CALCIUM - It not only helps your baby’s bones & teething process but also baby’s muscles & nerves to develop better, to stay stronger ensuring that your baby’s blood can clot properly.
2. VITAMIN D3 - It makes your child able to play around with good strength &energy; it also helps in absorbing calcium from food & deposit it in the bones.
3. IRON - Iron deficiency in children can affect development and lead to anemia which can have adverse effects on child’s mental growth and physical development.
4. ZINC - Zinc deficiency can delay baby’s normal growth, increase risk of infections, increases risk of diarrhea & respiratory disease. Worldwide, diarrheal diseases are the leading cause of infant demises.
