Homemade Pediasure
Aka Banana Chocolate Milkshake

Recently we had a wellness check and our pediatrician suggested to start with pediasure because of the kiddo’s low percentile. But we are not much interested and comfortable in feeding pediasure. Then I searched and prepared this healthy, nutritious and fresh milkshake. It tastes delicious than the pediasure ( Dr gave us a sample pack and I tasted it. It taste artificially flavored).
With simple ingredients available in the kitchen you can prepare homemade healthy Pediasure ❤️

Ingredients : 🍌 banana - 3/4th banana
🍌 Chocolate syrup or unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 tsp / 2tsp
🍌 Milk - 1 glass
🍌 cinnamon powder - pinch. ( optional )

Preparation:
🍹 Take a blender, add chopped banana, milk, cinnamon powder, chocolate syrup, and blend into a smoothie. Serve chilled. .
Kashyap doesn't like chilled drinks. I used Hershey's chocolate syrup. So I added warm milk. Basically, I don't like banana-based milkshakes. But I loved this completely. It tastes like 100% chocolate milk.

KASHAYA- An Ayurveda Drink.

Alternative of Tea/Coffee
Ingredients:

1 tsp coriander seeds

½ tsp jeera/cumin seeds

3 cardamoms/elaichi

½ tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp jaggery/sugar

1 tsp black pepper corns

1 inch ginger or 1 tsp ginger powder

3 tsp milk (adjust to your taste)
Instructions for kashaya powder:
take coriander seeds, cumin seeds, pepper, cardamom and grind in a blender.
Grind all these spices to medium fine powder. do not make it fine powder.

(if you want to store the kashaya powder then dry roast and grind. storing in air tight container helps to stay fresh).
kashaya drink:
take 1 cup of water in a sauce pan. add 1 tsp of kashaya powder, turmeric powder and grated ginger or dry ginger powder.
and jaggery or sugar to taste.
allow it boil for 5 minutes and mix in 2 - 3 tsp of milk and strain the kashaya. Drink it while hot. Enjoy the healthy drink of kashaya. #nesting
