Donate Your Child Unused Toys

At the core of a child’s heart, lies the desire to play with a toy; there is nothing more beautiful than the smile that a toy brings to a child’s face, but unfortunately a lot of children are deprived of this joy. The Toy Bank was established to bridge this gap by bringing a toy closer to every child.

The Toy Bank has been helping people share joy, ‘Recycle Toys – Recycle Smiles’ being its mission. Since its formal inception in 2005, The Toy Bank has helped willing patrons bring smiles to the face of more than 5 lakh children. It has been made possible by generous efforts and contributions of thousands, be it in their individual capacity, or students of various schools in Delhi-NCR region (like Delhi Public School, Modern School, Bal Bharti Public School, to name a few) or employees of leading corporates (Cadbury’s , Genpact, PVR Cinemas, among multiple others).

The toys bring smiles to children across the country through partner organizations who work with government schools, ‘anganvaadis’, shelter homes, children hospitals and in slum and rural areas.

How you can donate toys:

1. House Hold Collection:

The Toy Bank helps individual donors to donate toys through various collection centers spread across Delhi NCR. At present, there are 20 collection centres spread across the city, which are homes or offices of volunteers who have offered a small place in their premises as a collection centre. They provide easy access to anyone who wishes to donate toys and spread smiles.

2. School Collection:

The Toy Bank collaborates with various private schools in Delhi/ NCR to help their students to donate toys and bring joy to underprivileged children. The motive behind these drives is to encourage parents and children to donate as many toys that could help in bringing more smiles. The Toy Bank usually gets an enthusiastic response from the students who donate their cherished toys for this noble cause. These toys are then collected from the respective schools by the Toy Bank Co-coordinator.

3. Corporate Collection:

The Toy Bank collaborates with various corporate to help their employees spread joy by running collection drives at their offices. Many corporate like GENPACT, PVR, and Cadbury, among others have come forward to collaborate with the Toy Bank for recycling toys – recycling smiles.
