At six and a half months I started ‘T’ on

1. Bananas
2. Applesauce
3. Carrots
4. Pumpkin
5. Baby sweet potatoes (the thin small ones, the fibre of which breaks down far easier than the matured larger ones)

Puréed and mixed either in combinations or by itself with a small teaspoon of rice cereal or oatmeal. I must say naturally sweet food seemed to work wonders and the added bonus of it being in warm colours made it visually pleasing too.

Hint: A pinch of cinnamon made it just so perfect!
